This is designed to enhance user engagement, increase session time, and deliver global and local events in a scroll-free, glanceable way.

Concept: WIP - World in Pictures

A new Fast Card format delivering bite-sized, scrollable image stories. Each card combines a powerful image, a concise caption, and publisher branding.

  • Full-screen image stories
    High-resolution visuals for impactful storytelling.

  • Publisher attribution
    Trust is reinforced through logos (e.g., NDTV, Times Now, NewBytes).

  • Auto-progress timer
    Encourages passive consumption. Timer bar or countdown for next image.

  • Category-based organization
    E.g., “World in Sports,” “Culture in Pictures,” “Today’s Highlights.”

  • Tap to pause or skip
    Ensures control while maintaining fluidity.
